| Using the High/Scope COR Method of Assessment, Peoria |

| From STARnet, presented by Carol Weisheit. This two-day workshop will familiarize participants with the High/Scope assessment system for three- to five-year-olds. Topics on the first day will include the COR categories, children's developmental levels, the steps for using the COR, and writing objective anecdotes. The focus of the second day will be scoring anecdotal notes, scoring guidelines, planning to fill the gaps in assessment, and using the COR to inform parents of a child's progress. This workshop will incorporate short video clips, as well as small and large group discussion. If participants are currently using COR, they are encouraged to bring their COR materials to use during the workshop. Please Note: This workshop does not fulfill credit from the High/Scope Educational Research Foundation. However, participants will receive CPDU, CDA, and CE credit from STARNET.
