| This workshop is sponsored by I-CARE. Anyone interested in helping their children in the future and those with adults - this is important information that is rare as no one seems to tackle this information. The agenda for the day includes the following: • Morning Session Part I: Who are adults
with Autism? Evidence-based interventions
with older learners.

and community based instruction.

older learners. Social competence.

• Afternoon session Part II: Sexuality and
sexual safety. Quality of life. Dr. Peter Gerhardt is President,
and Chair of the Scientific Council, for
the Organization for Autism Research, a
nonprofit organization dedicated to funding
intervention research in support of
individuals with an Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) and their families. Dr.
Gerhardt has over 25 years experience
utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior
Analysis in support of adolescents and
adults with ASD in educational, employment,
and community based settings. He
is the author or co-author of articles and
book chapters on the needs of adults with
autism spectrum disorder, the school-towork-
transition process, assessment of
social competence, and analysis and intervention
of problematic behavior. He
has presented nationally and internationally
