| Presented by Dr. Cynthia Brouillard. Participants will learn how to effectively structure the assessment setting in order to gain the best results from children on the autism spectrum. This training is beneficial for anyone who performs assessments with individuals on the autism spectrum including psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers and teachers. Areas reviewed will include choosing the right assessment instrument, structuring the session and how to use visual systems to engage and structure the test taker. Strategies to successfully address problem behaviors which can arise during the course of an assessment will also be provided.
