This workshop is sponsored by The Arc of Illinois and The Family Support Network of Illinois. Come and hear about The Adult and Children's Home-Based Support Services Programs! Presenters include Charlotte Cronin, the Executive Director of the Family Support Network of Illinois. She is also the mother of Daniel, a wonderful young man with significant disabilities. Charlotte has worked closely with advocates for more than a decade striving to increase enrollment and improve services through the Family Assistance and Home-Based Support Services Programs. Elizabeth Lacey has recently retired as Executive Director of Community Support Services, one of the foremost family and individual support providers in the State of Illinois. Connie Sims is the Manager of the Waiver Section of the Bureau of Program Development and Medicaid Administration in the Division of Developmental Disabilities at the Illinois Department of Human Services. She has worked with the Family Assistance and Home- Based Support Services Programs since their inception in 1991. She currently oversees the seven staff involved in day to day administration of the Family Assistance and Home-Based Support Services. Additionally, there will be participation of Staff from ACES$.
