Respite Organizations
Illinois Respite Coalition & National Respite Coalition
The Illinois Respite Coalition is dedicated to increasing
public awareness of the importance of lifespan respite,
promoting education and training for users and providers of
respite services; and advocating support for families and
providers by insuring universal access to quality respite
services for the residents of the state of Illinois. To
participate with or for further information about the Illinois
Respite Coalition, please contact Patricia Burke or Victoria Nahas at Nia
Comprehensive Center in Chicago at 312-949-9415.
The Mission of the National Respite Coalition is to secure
quality, accessible, planned and crisis respite services for
all families and caregivers in need of such services in order
to strengthen and stabilize families, and enhance child and
adult safety. To learn more about the National Respite Coalition,
