A Rapid Method of Toilet Training Individuals with Autism –is a workshop designed for families with children/adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other related behavioral disorders.

More specifically, this workshop is designed for caregivers with children who have not successfully responded to traditional toileting methods. Toilet training is one of the most important life skills that lead to more independence.

Therefore, this workshop will describe the importance of toilet training, barriers to toilet training individuals with special needs, and present a rapid method of toilet training (i.e., 4 –7 days) based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a result of this workshop, caregivers should feel confident in their skills to implement this method of toilet training.
