The DisABILITY Resource Expo has been occurring annually in Champaign County, Illinois, since 2007. It has grown in size over the years, to include approximately 100 exhibitors per year, representing a wide range of disability-oriented products and services. The event produces a resource directory, available at the Expo, and a cumulative, online directory, available at this website. Further, the Expo event includes fun, family-friendly educational & recreational activities, and entertainment featuring people with disabilities is provided annually as well. Funding for the Expo is provided by the Champaign County Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities Boards, as well as by many community partners/businesses.
The DisABILITY Resource Expo Mission Statement: “To provide full access to information and resources from a wide variety of agencies and organizations, to promote a better quality of life for people with disabilities in Champaign County and East Central Illinois.”
