Conscious Discipline: Creating Safe Brain-Smart Classrooms
Learning Level 1: Introductory/Awareness
Intended Audience: Administrators, ECSE and General Educators, Teacher Assistants, Family Members, Family Educators, Psychologists, Social Workers, SLP’s, OT/PT’s, Early Intervention Personnel
Learn Conscious Discipline® brain model that will help you not only maintain self-control, but teach it to ALL children. In this workshop you will not only learn how to positively discipline children, but literally change their brain chemistry in the process. This yields lasting changes in behavior, not temporary fixes.
In collaboration with All Our Kids (AOK) Network, Black Hawk Area Special Education, Rock Island ROE, and Rock Island Schools
Continuing Education – This training will provide 12.0 contact hours for the following:
- Educator License Renewal
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) 3
- CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
- Gateways to Opportunity credit in area E (Org. ID# B40093)
Full attendance is required to receive a certificate.
