Please join us for a free webinar to learn about how to engage and support siblings of people with developmental disabilities. The target audience for this webinar is Service Providers working with people with developmental disabilities and their families. Participants will learn about the important role of siblings and how to collaborate with siblings. Brothers and sisters often have the longest relationships of their lives with each other but their experiences, input, and needs are often overlooked. There are many benefits to partnering with siblings including increased family engagement, better outcomes for the person with disabilities, and sibling needs being met.

This webinar will be led by Amy Halm of The Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) and Tara Conley of Supporting Illinois Brothers and Sisters (S.I.B.S.) Through an investment from the Illinois Council for Developmental Disabilities, the Sibling Leadership Network is partnering with Supporting Illinois Brothers and Sisters to expand support for siblings of people with disabilities in Illinois. More information about the growing resources provided by the project will be shared in the webinar.

Please register here for the free webinar Supporting and Engaging Siblings of Individuals with Disabilities Webinar for Providers on March 18, 2020 at 1pm.
